Biografia Oasis, unos de los principales grupos de rock de los últimos años, se formó en Manchester (Inglaterra), con los hermanos Noel y Liam Gallagher, influenciados por la música de los Stones Roses. Mientras que a Liam le gustaba más el fútbol que la música, Noel aprendió a tocar la guitarra muy joven, interpretando temas de los Beatles. Tras un concierto de los Stones Roses, Noel conoció a uno de los integrantes del grupo 'Inspiral Carpets', con los que se fue de gira como técnico, recorriendo todo el mundo. Mientras tanto, en Manchester, su hermano Liam se había unido a dos amigos, como vocalista, para formar un pequeño grupo. Sus resultados fueron bastante pobres, tanto que Noel, tras verlos actuar en directo, decidió unirse a ellos para intentar elevar al grupo. Por aquel entonces ya se llamaban 'Oasis'. oasis En 1993 Oasis firman con la discográfica 'Creation' y con 'Sony'. En 1994 editan su primer sencillo, 'Supersonic', iniciando lo que sería su primer álbum, 'Definitely Maybe', que se convirtió en un gran éxito de ventas. '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?', que rápidamente se coloca como número uno y les proporciona varios premios.
